Wine Bibber is a drinking perk in Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

Description[]

The wine you get is 50% weaker, so you can drink more, but beer is twice as strong and will make you drunk faster. Can't be combined with the Beer Bibber perk.

Notes[]

  • Players may think that the choice between Beer Bibber and Wine Bibber is merely for the character's "flavor", but it actually subtly changes the way a lot of things work. Simply put, Beer is much cheaper, nourishes less, and inebriates less than any wine product, be it Cheap wine, Wine, Rosehip wine or Fine wine, but the latter three also heal some health. Moreover, there are some perks in this tree that add benefits while drunk. So, in essence:
    • If you wish to get drunk faster, and stay drunk for longer, then take Beer Bibber, which will make any wine products much more powerful in alcohol, meaning you can carry them like potions of alcoholism, and can disregard Moonshine almost entirely.
    • If you wish to use the healing potential of wine products, which is especially useful in hardcore mode, then take Wine Bibber, which will reduce its alcoholic content, and therefore allowing you to drink a lot of it to restore health, as if it was an instantaneous, albeit weaker, healing potion.
      • When combined with Top Shelf, wine products become even less alcoholic, which in turn benefits this strategy even more.
  • Beer Bibber and Wine Bibber affects the drinking experience gained from consuming wine products, but not beer products.
