This page is about the quest. For the NPC, see Weed, and for the item, see Weed (item). Weeds is a side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Henry meets Brother Nicodemus at Sasau Monastery.

Synopsis[]

Brother Nicodemus asked me to weed his patch.

Objectives[]

  • (Optional) Weed in Brother Nicodemus's garden.
    • Go back to Nicodemus.

Walkthrough[]

Visit Brother Nicodemus and ask if the monk would be willing to train you. He asks you if you understand anything about herbs or medicine. Convince him you do, or confess that you don't. If you have sufficient skill in Herbalism, he will believe you and won't need to be convinced.

Either way, he'll want to test you. You'll need to pull the weeds - dandelions, nettles, and thistles - growing in his garden. Check the herb section in the alchemy book to see what they look like. Leave the infirmary and go north across the courtyard to enter the outer yard. Turn right, and near the stone wall you'll find a garden.

Picking Dandelions

Picking weeds

On one side grows eyebright, and on the other mint, which are medicinal herbs (there's also a bed of comfrey, but you don't need to weed that). Try not to pick those herbs, and just focus on the weeds; crouching helps. Once you think you're done, head back to Nicodemus and tell him you've finished. He'll go to the garden to look for himself.

If you picked too many of the medicinal plants or not enough of the weeds, he'll send you on your way with nothing. Otherwise, if you do a good job, he'll give you 75 Prague Groschen.

Notes[]

  • This side quest might prove annoying, depending on your Herbalism skill level. If your skill level is low, the task will prove tedious, while if your skill level is high, should you accidentally pick the wrong herb, you will likely have picked so much of it that you will fail the quest regardless of how well you cleared the garden of weeds. Regardless, it is recommended to save as soon as you reach the garden and before picking any weeds to ensure the best result.
