Waldensians is a side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance. The bailiff of Rattay has heard a rumor about a vicar in Uzhitz, and advises Henry to discuss it with Sir Hanush.
You might want to bring a Bard potion.
This is a timed quest. If the quest isn't completed within three days after first speaking with the vicar, he will handle matters on his own and leave the area, causing the quest to fail. Also, it must be started before the Epilogue; otherwise, the vicar will have left the area and Sir Hanush will not start the quest.

Walkthrough[]
Speak to Sir Hanush, who is unhappy that a vicar, the representative of Archbishop Zbignev, is in Uzhitz looking for heretics. Such an inquiry is sure to result in trouble. However, Sir Hanush is not especially concerned about heretics; he's more worried the archbishop will take advantage of the king's absence to obtain his estates. If you can convince the vicar there are no heretics in the area, he'll return to Prague. Alternatively, should there actually be heretics in the region, you should take care of them yourself.
Head to Uzhitz, where the vicar and his two guards are staying at Father Godwin's house. Talk to the vicar about how you can help track down the Waldensians, and he will give you the Heretic's testimony, which contains a long riddle describing the path to the Waldensians' meeting place. However, he is less inclined to explain why these heretics are so dangerous. If you can't yet read, the vicar will read the testimony to you.

The location of the meeting place
Reading the testimony allows you to decipher the directions. Starting at the inn in Uzhitz, go east past the church and out of the village until you reach a fork in the road with a shrine on your left. Follow the left fork down a road that leads northeast. You will pass three beehives on your right, an "interesting site" comprising a partly crumbled stone wall, and a path that veers off to the right toward the stream. Continue on the main road until you pass through a small grove of trees, immediately after which will be a dirt track leading left. Follow this track past the "straw guards" and into the grove to find the secret meeting place.

Finding the wooden cross
Take the wooden cross lying on one of the log stools. Return to Uzhitz and talk to the first villager you see, who will advise you to take the cross to Godwin, as he blesses all the crosses. Godwin is hesitant to identify the owner, as he thinks you are working for the vicar and doesn't want any of his flock burned at the stake. You assure him you are only trying to get the vicar out of the region, which convinces Godwin to identify the cross as belonging to the Bauers. The Bauers are new to Uzhitz and keep mostly to themselves. They go to mass but never stay long, and they don't attend any local events. However, Godwin describes them as the most charitable people in the village.
You and Godwin agree it would be better for all involved if you investigate the so-called heretics. At this point, you can tell the vicar what you know, and he will encourage you to eavesdrop on the Bauers from their attic. Leave town and head to the Bauer estate, then climb the ladder to access the attic before 21:00. There, choose the on-screen prompt to automatically wait until the family has their dinner, when you will overhear their prayers and their fears that the vicar is on to them. Mistress Bauer is resolved to stay and die for her faith and her husband decides to stay with her, but they advise the others to leave.

Henry eavesdrops on the Bauers
At this point, you have enough evidence to take to the vicar. He will give you 425 and praise you for finding the heretics, who will be arrested and interrogated. Sir Hanush is pleased the vicar is out of the region, though he is surprised about the presence of actual heretics, giving you 375
and a St. Michael's sword. There's not much point in going to Godwin; as he points out, the heretics are unlikely to listen to a priest.
If you aren't interested in doing the vicar's bidding, go to Mistress Bauer and convince her to flee. She isn't inclined to abandon her mission, even if the people of Uzhitz suffer the vicar's wrath, but she may be convinced it is God's will she survive to continue her preaching. If your Speech is at level 20, all four persuasion options will be successful, with "I know how awful..." and "You won't be the only one..." being the most difficult to pass. You must then tell the vicar the Bauers have fled, but he simply responds he will continue his hunt and won't give you a reward. Return to Sir Hanush to receive his reward (375 and a St. Michael's sword), but only if you don't tell him you tipped off the Bauers, which will make him furious and cause you to lose reputation with the Rattay citizens faction.

Henry speaks with Mistress Bauer
If you think you might fail to convince the mistress, speak instead to Farmer Bauer, who sadly admits they would only be saved if something unfortunate were to happen to the vicar. Return to Uzhitz and murder the vicar, but beware his two guards. Sir Hanush will be furious and will give you no reward, though if you pass a Speech check, you won't lose reputation with the Rattay citizens faction.

The vicar warns Henry about heretical thinking
Finally, once you have learned the truth, you can go to the vicar and lie by claiming you found nothing suspicious, but this will fail the quest.
