A trainer is a person who can train Henry in one or more of his skills. Often the trainer's costs aren't cheap with the lowest being 60 and the highest being 2000
. However, the skills they provide are undoubtedly worth it, as they teach Henry new abilities and increase the speed he learns them in.
Training options[]
There are four levels of training. Regardless of the skill, all cost the same, and give the same amount of XP in that skill. Basic training has no prerequisite, other levels have a minimum level requirement before they can be taught. Conversely, there's no upper limit for training availability - even basic training is still available with skill level 19, as long you haven't already used it.
Training | Required Level | Cost | XP Gained |
---|---|---|---|
Basic | 0 | 60 ![]() |
50 |
Slightly Advanced | 5 | 180 ![]() |
200 |
Advanced | 10 | 540 ![]() |
350 |
Master | 15 | 1620 ![]() |
500 |
It's noteworthy to know that even though there's 2 or 3 trainers for every skill, each level of training can only be requested once - and doing so disables that option from the other trainers of that skill. Also all trainers do offer all training levels, but not necessarily all of their listed skills at any given moment. For example, Berthold does not offer to train Bow when Henry is first let loose in Rattay, this becomes available only later.
The skill experience granted by a trainer's instruction is identical to the same-level skill book - with the exception of the "Basic" level, which yields 20 XP less than a volume 1 skill book.
Trainers by Skill[]
- ↑ bow training by Nicholas or Berthold will not become available until you've finished the main quest Train Hard, Fight Easy. Until then the item will simply be missing from the menu.
