The Tanner of Ledetchko is a minor character in Kingdom Come: Deliverance. He ran the tannery at Ledetchko, and was the father of Hynek, also called Reeky. Despite his tough demeanor and complaints about his son, he does appear to genuinely love him, giving Henry some information and begging him to find his son before anything worse happens.

Biography[]

Reeky was embroiled in some trouble during [On the Scent] quest, and Henry came to Ledetchko to track down the young man. The tanner originally claimed not to know where his son was, complaining that despite being rejected by the townsfolk, his son was ungrateful towards his father, the only family he had. However, he is loath to turn Reeky over.

After some convincing (or threatening) by Henry, he eventually confesses that his son had passed by only a few days before, and was probably tucked away at his poacher's hideout. Although the tanner doesn't know the exact location, he is able to give Henry a clues - Reeky was always scratched and dirty when he came home, indicating that the hideout was in the deepest part of the woods. In addition, the innkeeper would sometimes give Reeky some coin, possibly to buy his poached meat.
