Speech is a character statistic in Kingdom Come: Deliverance. The player's current Speech level can be seen in the Player window below their character. It can also be seen on the Stats tab where players will see a breakdown of the actual level and any buffs that may increase it.
You can read the book series Silence is Golden and Other Myths to level up this skill.

Description[]
Speech gauges the character's ability to talk his way out of situations. It is improved by talking to people and successful persuasions. As a result, a good speaker can settle many conflicts before they even arise, haggle better or disconcert a foe he wouldn't be able to overcome in combat.
Players obtain Speech perk points at every fourth level up.
