Thievery is a non-combat skill in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II that governs Henry's proficiency in stealth-related activities, such as lockpicking and pickpocketing. Enhancing this skill improves success rates in these activities and reduces the likelihood of detection.
In Kingdom Come: Deliverance, elements of thievery were present in Lockpicking and Pickpocketing skills. In the second game they have been combined into a single skill.
Description[]
- Thievery may not be an honourable way to make a living, but if done correctly, not a shadow of suspicion should fall upon your reputation.
- This skill makes lockpicking and pickpocketing easier. As your level increases, you can tackle more complex locks and the process will be less sensitive to your mistakes. When pickpocketing, your victim is less likely to notice your probing hand, making the whole process easier, and you'll also be able to identify some items in their pockets or pouches beforehand.
- You gain experience by lockpicking and pickpocketing. The stronger the lock you overcome or the more valuable the items you manage to steal, the more experience you will gain.
Leveling[]
- Lockpicking. Begin with simple locks and gradually progress to more challenging ones as your skill increases. The more difficult the lock, the greater the experience reward.
- Pickpocketing. Look for sleeping NPCs (ideally at night) and attempt to pickpocket them without actually taking anything. Each successful attempt grants 5 XP in both Thievery and Agility. When done efficiently, this method can yield up to 260 XP per minute, making it one of the fastest ways to level both skills.

And if you're looting a dead person, you know where to search, thus you can find a bit more money on them. Steal items worth at least 10,000 Groschen in total to unlock this hidden perk. | - |
