Kingdom Come: Deliverance Wiki

Survival is a non-combat skill in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II that governs Henry's ability to endure and thrive in the wilderness. It encompasses activities such as foraging, hunting, and navigating the natural environment. Improving this skill enhances Henry's efficiency in gathering resources, managing fatigue and hunger, and resisting environmental challenges.

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance, elements of survival were present in Hunting and Herbalism skills. In the second game they have been combined into a single skill.

Description[]

Knowledge of the beauties, laws and dangers of the world beyond the stone walls of human settlements unites royal huntsmen and the humblest wanderers alike.
The higher your skill, the easier it will be to hunt wild game and obtain more meat from it. Gathering herbs will also be quicker and using fast travel will make it easier for you to escape ambushes and other pitfalls.
You gain bushcraft experience primarily by hunting game, gathering herbs and processing your catch (drying, smoking, cooking). Additionally, discovering interesting places in the world and overcoming dangers while using fast travel will also contribute to your experience.

Leveling[]

  • Herb foraging: utilizing drying racks to preserve gathered herbs can provide additional XP. With Leg Day perk you will also level the Strength stat while you pick herbs.
  • Map exploration: discovering new locations and points of interest while traveling (fast travel doesn't count!). The Explorer perk can aid in identifying undiscovered areas.
  • Hunting: killing animals and butchering animal carcasses.
