Notes[]
- Historical Accuracy: The plate jack in Kingdom Come Deliverance appears loosely based on the coat of plates, an early type of brigandine developed sometime in the 13th century and popular into the mid 14th century. The coat of plates is best known today by surviving specimens from the Battle of Visby (1361), though like most relics from this battle it is known to have been mostly outdated for that time period (as most of the dead consisted of the underequipped Gotlands.) The model from Kingdom Come Deliverance is generally a poor interpretation, as the plates have large gaps which would be very weak to thrusts, and they are generally oversized for this type of armor.
