Pillory is a General codex entry in Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

Pillories were mostly used to punish criminals by putting them "in the stocks", where their head and hands were locked inside a wooden board, and they were left there for several hours or even days at a time. Not only was this extremely uncomfortable (especially if they were not given any food or water, or unlocked to use the bathroom, forcing them to soil themselves), but it exposed them to public humiliation. Everyone in town would see what they had done, and often be encouraged to throw rotten produce, animal excrement, or even rocks at them.

The pillory would be located in the middle of the square, and it was here that the lesser punishments were meted out, for transgressions such as perjury, slander or various frauds. It was typically a wooden or stone pillar to which the convicted were tied by a chain for a specific time (hours or even days). They were then punished by the whole community — being spat on, insulted, mocked and pelted randomly on a daily basis.
