The Miners of Silver Skalitz were a group of silver-miners who remained in a camp near Skalitz after the attack. They spend alot of time sleeping, which makes questioning them very irritating.
Biography[]
The miners fled to the camp after Skalitz was razed. Apparently, several of them tried to leave but nobody ever came back, so they decided to simply wait until the silver mines reopened, or someone came looking for them, rather than risk being murdered by bandits.
Henry would encounter them while investigating the silver mines as part of The King's Silver. They point out that life in Rattay would be no better than life at the camp, and they're content to stay and see what happens.
As it turns out, the group have been continuing their mining efforts, and selling the silver. Nemoy, their leader, was alarmed when Henry showed up and was determined to get rid of him in order to continue their secret operation. Zuzana was horrified at the prospect, and pushed him, accidentally sending him tumbling down the mine-shaft to his death.
The other miners would immediately flee the area, leaving only the Miner's widow. Henry has the chance to let her go, or take her back to Rattay as an eyewitness.
