The marigold decoction is a type of potion in Kingdom Come: Deliverance, which can be prepared at an Alchemist's bench.

Recipe Description

Whoever has been wounded and battered or has bruises and wounds on his body, let him try drinking this potion for recovery. It helps to heal wounds and gives the body the strength to recover. Should it not be enough, though, better to call a physician. It also aids against hangover.

Potion Description (Effects)

Within one minute will add 30 Health and dispel hangover effects. Cancels the effects of Lazarus Potion.

Uses

Marigold Decoction can also be applied to Drinking Water.

• A single potion can be used to poison a stack of 5 Drinking Water without diluting the effects, providing a 5-for-1 deal.
• Poisoning Drinking water filters out the nourishment value of potions, enabling players to use multiple potions without Overeating.

Crafting

Ingredients

• Water
• 2x Marigold
• 1x Nettle

Herbarium

1. Pour water into cauldron.
2. Add 1 Nettle to cauldron.
3. Boil for 1 turn of the sandglass.
4. Allow cauldron to cool fully.
5. Add 2 Marigold to cauldron.
6. Collect using phial.

Quick-Brew

1. Pour water into cauldron.
2. Add 1 Nettle and 2 Marigold to cauldron.
3. Collect using phial.

Master Brew

1. Pour water into cauldron.
2. Add 1 Nettle and 2 Marigold to cauldron.
3. Collect using phial.

Note: This recipe yields 3 potions with the Trial and Error perk. Along with Bundle Alchemist, it yields 4 potions.

Master Brew II

1. Pour water into cauldron.
2. Add 1 Nettle to cauldron.
3. Add 2 Marigold to cauldron.
4. Pull bellows 3 times.
5. Collect using phial.

Notes

• This potion is one of the fastest to make, alongside the Bowman's Brew, digestion potion, and poison. Even with an alchemy skill level of 0, all you need to do is to add water, 1 Nettle, 2 Marigold, then complete the potion—no boiling, cooling, or grinding required. This makes it the quickest way to level up your alchemy skill.
• Commonly carried by bandits, highwaymen, men-at-arms and Cumans.
• This is KCD's version of a basic health potion.
