Jan Semine (Czech: Jan ze Semína) is an old nobleman of modest means. He's the current lord of Semine village, the owner of Semine fortress and a vassal to Otto von Bergow.
Biography[]
When Henry first arrives in the region, Semine is about to become a place of a grand affair (at least by local standards). Jan's son Olda is set to marry Agnes Thrush, the daughter of Troskowitz bailiff. Semine was once a wealthy family, but their glory days are gone. Sir Jan hopes to improve his fortune with the generous dowry that Thrush is offering for his daughter.
Despite being a noble, Sir Jan serves alongside his soldiers, even as he gets up there in age. In turn, he has a good relationship with his estate's captain, Gnarly, with the two occasionally causing a bit of mischief at taverns, like one time in Jitschine 15 years ago.
