Henik is a minor character living in Tachov in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II.
Biography[]
Unlike most in Tachov, Henik's family wasn't originally from the area. Instead, his parents arrived shortly after a plague and settled into a vacant farm in town and eventually had three sons: Pena, Rudlen, and Henik. However, after their father died, Pena left, and after their mother passed away, Rudlen likewise left, leaving Henik alone. Despite both his older brothers saying they'd return in a year, neither did and Henik was left wondering what happened to them.
When Henik started dating Manka, Manka's parents greatly disapproved of the relationship, believing Henik would just follow in his brothers' footsteps and leave the town one day. To them, this meant if the young adults ever got married, Henik would likely take Manka with him and thus they'd never see their daughter again if so.
Despite Manka's parents' adamant declarations that the relationship between Henik and Manka was over, the young couple were still secretly seeing each other when they could find the time. They're not particularly careful all the time though, as one time they went to a dance in Troskowitz but Manka's parents found out and were furious over it.
