Gules is a nobleman turned bandit in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II.

After the final bandit task is taken care of, he'll be available to teach swordsmanship, unarmed, thievery, and stealth.

Biography[]

Despite being a noble, Gules came to lead a group of bandits in Apollonia. However, this didn't come without issues with some, like Handsome Charlie, trying to get the rest to turn on Gules. When he learned of this, Gules ran Charlie out of the group. Despite this, Gules' right hand man, Johnny the Gob, proved to be a loyal friend, never once betraying him.

At one point, Gules was working with two young men, cousins Franzi and Ventza, to steal a bunch of goods from the blacksmith in Tachov. The two cousins eagerly went and apprenticed to the blacksmith, who was preparing a large order for an upcoming wedding in Semine.

However, the cousins then got a rash idea to not just steal from the blacksmith, but also try to run off with the goods for themselves. Gules caught onto this though and he and his bandits found the cousins and cart. Gules then had Ventza tied up while he talked it out with Franzi. Around the same time, he learned of an attack on an entourage at Rocktower Pond, so he sent Johnny with 7 of their best men to check if anything of value was left behind.

If The Jaunt is completed:

Unfortunately for Gules and his men, the missing cart hadn't gone unnoticed and Jan Semine set out with Captain Gnarly and Henry to find it. The trio soon found and attacked Gules' bandit camp, taking Gules captive alongside the two cousins. The three were then taken to Semine, where their fates would be decided. As Gules was a noble though, he couldn't be hanged, so Jan simply took him on as a guard for the town.
