Drying shed

The drying shed is an area inside the Bakery of Pribyslavitz in the DLC From the Ashes, where Henry can dry certain raw meats items in order to preserve them. The spoilage duration is effected by the Alchemy perk Salted and Smoked, but not the Hunting perk Salty.

See also the smoke house, which Henry can use to make smoked meat. However it is considered a lesser choice to the drying shed.

Drying and smoking are widespread and very useful means of preserving food for later consumption. The procedure is the same as for cooking - simply place the meat, fruit or other food in the drier or smokehouse and it'll be ready in the blink of an eye.
