The Church can be rebuilt during the reconstruction of Pribyslavitz during the DLC From the Ashes, and is one of the most important buildings in the village. Destroyed by Havel Medek during his feud with Sir Divish in 1391, it was abandoned until 1403, when it was used as the headquarters of Runt, the leader of the bandits, before he was killed during Baptism of Fire.

Basic Repairs[]

Essential repairs to the church should begin with fixing the roof to protect the building from the rain and prevent further decay.

This is the first step in repairing the church. Just like with the Rathaus, you shouldn't rush with these repairs. It is much more important to construct buildings that generate income.

Church[]

The beautiful repaired church is the pride of the whole settlement.

This second step in rebuilding the church is expensive. Don't rush with this project; it should probably be your last investment in Pribyslavitz.

Improvements[]

  • Altar. 4000 Prague Groschen
  • Frescoes. 3000 Prague Groschen

The Altar[]

A description of what can be seen in the altarpiece triptych after its installation:

  • Center: Christ rising from the tomb
  • Left: Henry of Skalitz, praying
  • Right: Sir Divish of Talmberg, praying

The flanking figures are in the characteristic position of patrons of the church

The Frescoes[]

A description of what can be seen on the frescoes of the church after complete restoration:

Left side in the nave:[]

  •    Left: The battle of Skalitz with latin caption "1403 Skalitz in flames"
  •    Right: Henry enters into Radzig's service with latin caption "God is strong and just"
  •    Top: Mary mother of God in typical red and blue dress with three angels

Right side in the nave:[]

  •    Left: The battle of Pribyslavitz with Henry slaying Runt in the church, with latin caption "he wins the battle at Pribyslavitz"
  •    Right: Divish makes Henry the bailiff of Pribyslavitz, symbolized in the typical medieval style of the handing over of a building with latin caption "The first founder of Pribyslavitz Henric von Skalitz"
  •    Top: A female saint or alegorical "Mother Church" with the 11 disciples under her cloak (Judas missing of course). Two angels.

Choir:[]

  •    Left: Crucifixion of Christ with Mary other of God and maybe Mary Magdalen, or one of the other women and Saint John (right). Sun and Moon.
  •    Right: Jesus at the Mount of Olives awaiting his arrest. Jesus is praying to God and is comforted by an angel while the disciples are sleeping.
  •    Center top: Christ with Mary Mother of God (left) and another saint (right). Angels blowing the trumpets of doomsday and the dead rising from their graves according to the Book of Revelation.
  •    Center middle: Twelve disciples holding the symbols of their martyrdom or other usual symbols. From left to right:
  1.    Thaddaeus or Matthias with stone - replacing Judas as the 12th disciple (not part of the gospels but part of the acts of the apostles)
  2.    Thomas with lance
  3.    Andrew with saltire cross
  4.    Bartholomew with knife
  5.    Matthew with axe

  •    Center bottom: The people now living. Not yet dead and not yet saved because they do not have a halo and death is at their feet waiting to get them.
