Chamberlain Dietrich, commonly referred to as just the Chamberlain, is a minor character in Kingdom Come: Deliverance. He was a servant of Lord Divish of Talmberg.
Biography[]
As chamberlain, his role was to manage the household of Sir Divish and Lady Stephanie of Talmberg. To that end, he spent much of his time in his study, off the main hall of Talmberg castle.
He was serving Divish in 1403 when Henry rode on horseback from Skalitz in Run! with grave news - foreigners had attacked Skalitz and razed it to the ground, and may be heading for Talmberg. The Chamberlain was the first to suggest that the army may have been the rumoured Cuman mercenaries hired by King Sigismund of Hungary.
He was later present when Sigismund brought his army to Talmberg, and heaved a visible sigh of relief when Lord Divish convinced the war-hungry king that they were no threat.
Later, Divish would mention that he had been sending polite letters to resolve the stone supply issue in The House of God, but to no avail. Henry will also need to speak with him in Henry the Master Huntsman to receive orders for game to hunt.
