Bohush is a villager from Semine and is involved with Marika in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II.
Biography[]
After nomads settled into the nearby area, Bohush met Marika, one of the Voivode's children, and soon started courting her, despite his mother's protests, who claimed her son must have been hexed and would never have gotten involved with a nomad otherwise. When things started to get serious, the voivode sent a message to Semine that Bohush should marry Marika or pay. However, this message arrived while Bohush was out with Marika so his mother responded with insults.
Bohush soon learned of this, but got caught up in an escalating conflict where Marika's brothers, Tibor and Gejza, had come to confront the villagers to avenge their family's honor. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse when they ran into some woodcutters and Bohush was stabbed, Gejza was killed, and Tibor was taken captive.
Marika managed to find her boyfriend and quickly took him to a hiding spot in Apollonia to recover, though she was limited by what she could gather in the area.
If Miri Fajta is completed and Marika's given the amulet:
- Clever like her father though, when Henry found Marika and Bohush and offered to assist, Marika eventually proposed her idea: for Henry to wager the letter against her father's amulet. If Henry won, then the voivode would have to come see her and hand it over to her himself. Henry did so, winning the bet and, as promised, her father met her in the cave with the still recovering Bohush. As they talked, Marika noted the amulet wasn't just for her, but for her and Bohush, to save his life, revealing her plan all along: by saving someone's life as per their custom, they'd become part of the family as well. Realizing the clever plan his daughter just pulled off, the voivode laughed over how she had outwitted him. He then apologized for his earlier, stubborn behavior and welcomed Marika and Bohush back to the camp.
- At the Nomads' camp, Marika's mother, Aranka, provided more healing care to Bohush so that in a few weeks, he'd be back to normal. For her part, Bohush's mother also finally accepted that her son was in love with a nomad.
