The Blacksmith of Samopesh is a minor character in Kingdom Come: Deliverance. He ran the forge of Samopesh.

Biography[]

As part of the Quest The Queen of Sheba's Sword, Henry is tasked with collecting the five pieces of a sword allegedly belonging to the Queen of Sheba. When the blacksmith is asked about the sword, he responds with:

Well, my lad, I can't help you there. We're the back of beyond here - not even a pilgrim ever stops by. And ever in he did, what use would some relic be to me? And what would I pay him with?
— Blacksmith of Samopesh

He also gives Henry the quest Dead Men Tell No Tales, after telling him about how his son Svatopluk became sick and died after competing in the Rattay tourney, despite only having a few scratches and bruises. Although many suspect that his opponent, Black Peter, was involved in his death, no proof was ever found.

After Sir Hanush's recent decision to hold another tournament, the Blacksmith has become depressed thinking about his beloved son, so Henry promises to investigate his death.

If Henry is able to win the Tourney, he is ambushed by Black Peter, and after searching his body, discovers he carries a poisoned Page's sword - finally proof of what happened to Svatopluk. The Blacksmith takes some comfort in finally understanding how his son died, and that his murder has been avenged.
