Description[]
The klappvisor adds protection for the combatant's face. However, it severely limits the field of view.

Notes[]
- Though the description claims that it "severely limits field of view", it is actually quite better than some of the higher tiered face-plated helmets.
- This is one of the few helmets that cannot be purchased, ironic given its somewhat unremarkable stats for a closed helmet.
- Historical Accuracy: In addition to the comments on the common bascinet page, this item in-game has some issues with interpretation. True to its name, it is the common bascinet model with a klappvisor, or a visor attached via a hinge in the center of the helmet. With this mounting method already implemented, the side hinges are redundant. Additionally, this perforated design for the eyeslits is very obscuring compared to the more conventional design of very thin continuous slits - historical perforated designs such as that housed in the German Historical Museum in Berlin featured less and larger slits for more complete vision.
