The Bailiff of Rattay is a supporting character in Kingdom Come: Deliverance. He was tasked with keeping peace and order in the town of Rattay on Sasau.

Biography[]
Although quite dedicated to his work, the Bailiff does not appear to have particularly well developed social skills. He is not best pleased that his town is overrun with refugees and makes his feelings clear to them - causing difficulty when he is ordered to find work for them, and they refuse to cooperate.
Henry would likely first meet him during Train Hard, Fight Easy, where he has been ordered to join the city watch. The Bailiff is pleased to have a member of Sir Radzig's retinue keeping order, as he hopes that the Skalitz refugees might be more inclined to listen to one of their own.
He does seem to be a fair man, as in Aquarius he requests that Henry find who needs work the most, instead of giving it to someone who will waste his earnings. In Tough Love, Henry asks for more information regarding Elishka's husband's family, but he is merely told to speak to the Scribe.

Trivia[]
- Despite being quite tough to fight, the bailiff (funnily) is very easy to knock out. If you have the right levels and you are in need of cash, the bailiffs inventory will easily get you over a thousand gold. Even new characters can do this. However, there potentially is a bug where once you knock him out once, you may not be able to again.
