- For the article on Kingdom Come: Deliverance armour, see Armour (KCD).
Armour is a crucial part to surviving fights in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. Henry is able to mix and match various types of armour in order to suit his needs. However, to wear protective armor, the padded pieces have to be equipped first before putting on the respective protective pieces. The system follows simple logic:

Coif goes under helmet, gambeson under chainmail and/or chest plate, leg plate can only be worn over quilted hose or padded chausses, and spurs can't be worn without shoes. It is not necessary to put on coat and neck collars before the protective gear. Accessory pieces, such as ring and necklaces, do not contribute towards defensive stats but should be worn to boost charisma.
It is possible to create up to 3 gear loadouts and switch between them at any time, excluding active combat. Unlike slots for consumables, which have to be unlocked via pouches, this mechanic is available from the start.
Armour varieties[]
Armour has the following varieties, which each have a designated section in the inventory - it is impossible to wear two of the same item, and some items occupy two slots, but armour and clothing can be overlaid for maximum effect.

Statistics[]
Each piece of armor offers unique stats that affect Henry's overall attributes. Your choice of gear should align with your playstyle, as some armor types may be better suited to certain approaches than others. For example, if you want to sneak on someone or go on a stealing spree, it's unwise to done full plate, that would clank with every move.
