Walkthrough[]
When Tinker runs off, follow him along the path to the west. Survivor Holba is lying on the path with a leg injury and tells the story of how he got there. You can choose to use your medical knowledge to help with his leg. You're then faced with the decision to have him leave on his own, or help him walk. In the latter case, you'll fast travel to the outskirts of Skalitz. The Cumans may have gone, but there are Bandits in the area so exercise caution, or exact punishment on those who would loot the bodies of your neighbours.
Although you can pursue the tasks in any order, there is a most straightforward sequence. Head east to the mine works. Along the way, you may stop at the mill for Theresa to look over her fallen father and brother. Survivor Jarmila is in a shed at the works and refuses to leave until a Cuman Deserter wandering about is removed. You can either convince her to leave with a difficult persuasion check, or kill the deserter and then talk to her.
Continue west to the woods, where Surviving Marosh is looking for his wife Pavlena. Again, you can attempt to persuade him to leave, or search for his wife who can be found on the hill in the forest, to the right. Use Tinker's Seek! ability; listen to the barks and follow. Keep an eye out a little southwest of the Woodland Garden, near a fallen tree. Return to tell Marosh to move on.
Go back southeast to the woodcutter's camp. Woodcutter Survivor Julian is standing near several bodies, in a state of shock and seeking an unspecified thing. You can try very difficult persuasion tests, or find what he needs to feel safe. Under a nearby lean-to is a stump with Julian's axe; give it to him and he'll leave.
The last stop is the potter's smallholding. Potter Stanislav is locked out of his own home, and won't leave until he gets his coin stash. Head west along the path over the nearby bridge to find his Potter's house key near the spilled basket of wood. Alternately, if you have a Lockpick and have learned the skill from Fritz earlier you pick the Very Easy lock. Stanislav's purse is in the apple basket in the pantry. Go outside to find a Looter accosting Stanislav. If you don't intercede, the potter is likely to die in the ensuing argument. You can jump into combat with the dangerous Looter, or speak with them. If you take the speaking route, you can give the looter the pouch, though Stanislav will not be pleased. You can also convince the Looter to leave or pick a fight with him.
Rescuing all the survivors grants the Saviour achievement.
